Start with the model printed on your pump. Elvie Pump, Elvie Stride and Elvie Stride 2 are separate product families; similar-looking valves and shields are not a safe basis for choosing a replacement.
The quick compatibility check
Look at your pump label, the original part and the manual before placing an order. Keep the model name beside you while browsing: “Elvie” alone is not enough. A kit can contain several different components, so “2 pack” also needs a contents check.
| Your pump | What to check | Examples in our range |
|---|---|---|
| Elvie Pump | Choose accessories explicitly listed for Elvie Pump. | The Pump spout and valve kit contains two spouts and two valves. |
| Elvie Stride | Use Stride-specific parts; do not assume they fit Stride 2. | See Stride valves, 3 pack and Stride diaphragms, 2 pack. |
| Elvie Stride 2 | Look for the complete Stride 2 name and the correct part size. | See the Stride 2 17mm insert listing; check the fit instructions for your setup. |
Replacing a part or buying a spare set?
First identify what is missing or worn. A valve, spout, seal, diaphragm, shield and insert have different jobs. Ordering the cheapest item with the brand name can leave you with a part that does not solve the problem. Compare the component name with the diagram in your manual, then check the quantity in the pack.
If you are putting together a spare set for another location, make a list of the components you already own. Do not count a valve-and-spout kit as a complete collection cup or assume bottles are supplied with a shield. Open the product page to see what is included.
Shield and insert sizes need a separate check
A size in millimetres describes the part, not the number of accessories included. Match both the model family and the stated size. If pumping is painful or the fit is uncertain, seek qualified feeding support rather than relying on a size label alone.
Cleaning and care
Follow the instructions for your particular pump and replacement part. Instructions for washable milk-contact parts should not be applied to electronic components or tubing. Check the original manual before using a dishwasher, steriliser or cleaning chemical.
Before adding to your basket
- Confirm Pump, Stride or Stride 2 on the pump label.
- Match the exact component and size.
- Read the contents: a kit may contain more than one kind of part.
- Check the product’s current availability and return conditions for hygiene items.
Browse the Elvie range or breast pumps and milk-storage collection once you have your model details.
